Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes teach foundation techniques in submission grappling. Students learn positioning, sweeps, and submissions. The main focus of this class is on technique and basic movements. Students can gain knowledge and training to earn progression belts and begin competing at BJJ and grappling tournaments. All students are required to train in a gi uniform with the opportunity to participate in a no-gi grappling class upon progression past a beginners level.

With an emphasis on the ground defense technical aspect rather than striking, students train with progressive resistance in a fun, friendly, and relaxed environment. This instruction is a co-ed class.
